Price Alert Setup: How to track price changes & get flights while they’re cheap
1. Open the Skyscanner app or desktop homepage
2. Search for a flight that you’re are interested in
3. Tap the bell icon in the bottom-left on the app (or top-left on desktop)
4. Tap ‘Create,’ and you’re all set!
1. What is a Price Alert?
A price alert tracks the price of a specific route or flight. When the price changes, you’ll be notified via email or push notification if the price went up or down (and by how much). This feature is entirely free, can be stopped at any moment, and you can have multiple setups at once. They are hands-down one of the best ways to find cheap flights, fast.

Price Alerts help you stay on top of flight and route price changes, so you’re informed precisely what is changing and by how much. With the tedious work taken care of and time saved researching price changes, you have more time to plan the fun parts of your vacation!
3. How do I set up a Price Alert?

To find the best price for your flight, conduct a search for flights on Skyscanner, and then click on the “Get price alerts” button. If you’re already logged in, the alert will be automatically sent to your email. Not logged in? No problem, you can either create an account with us or just add your email address. Skyscanner will then track the price of your search, and each time the flight price changes, we’ll send an email to you that shows the increase or decrease on plane tickets. Make sure to use the exact date and airports to track the right flights!

And on the mobile app
Complete a flight search. When you download the Skyscanner app, you have the option of tracking the price of your flight or route. Simply search for a flight and select the bell icon on the bottom left corner of your screen as the results load.
Create a Price Alert. You will then be prompted to log in or create an account in order to receive notifications when the price of your flight rises or falls. You will be able to track the flight of your choice and book right when the price drops!
Alert Confirmation. With notifications enabled, you will stay informed of changes. By being in the know, you’ll be able to ensure a great deal on that dream vacation.
