Things you should know

Israeli citizens must obtain a valid visa before entering Uzbekistan from its embassy in Israel. The application fee is $50-$100 (₪180-₪360), depending on the purpose and length of your visit. When applying for a visa, you will have to present a reservation confirmation from your hotel or an invitation from relatives to stay with them, or a proof of participation in a group tour. The process takes at least seven business days, remember that when booking flights from Tel Aviv to Tashkent.

The receptionist in your hotel will give you a confirmation of your staying at the hotel. If you are staying in a private house or apartment more than three days, you must go to the local interior ministry with your passport and host to register. There’s a fee of at least $5.
