Group Stay for Conference

Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Great shower (in my room, not so for others) Decent breakfast options. Friendly front desk staff. Walkable to fabulous Organic Grocery Store.
Plenty of area to have a nightly meeting or even a private place to read. Computer area. Elevators are a bit slow. Nice pool area on the second floor next to the small workout room. Great view of the baseball stadium!

Nice but overpriced

The hotel is nice but definitely extremely overpriced. It was across the street from the baseball field which is why I chose to stay there. I probably wouldn't stay there again as there are other options that are in the same location and just as convenient.

The room was fine. However, the bathroom more specifically the shower curtain was dirty and had multiple stains that looked like mold. In addition, the bathroom obviously had been painted or something and there were three spots were the paint was either peeling off or patched poorly.

Hit and miss hotel

I've stayed here many times, and the most consistent thing is...the inconsistency.
On the plus side, I've always found the staff to be helpful and pleasant, and I've never had any issues with checking in or out. The hotel seems fairly new, there's free parking and breakfast, and the location is central to Greensboro. The rooms are standard Hyatt Place rooms - they're almost identical from one location to the next, so if you've stayed at any other Hyatt Place, you know exactly what to expect. And it's nice to have a free copy of Wall Street Journal waiting in the lobby every morning.
On the negative side, some rooms have AC units that are incredibly loud, as other reviews have noted. Like, industrial levels of loud, so loud they make it hard to fall asleep. On a recent stay, I finally turned the unit off so I could sleep - and five minutes later an even louder deep roar kicked in, and I couldn't figure out the source. I was on the top floor, so maybe an HVAC unit on the roof? The noise kept me up for hours, but it was late and I didn't want to try to change rooms in the middle of the night.
Usually the rooms are perfectly clean, but once in a while the bathroom floor is coated in something slimy that makes walking barefoot quite unpleasant. Maybe it's some kind of cleaning product that hasn't been soaked up or something.
I'd give the hotel four stars except for the AC noise.

Had a great stay for business travel!

Hotel was clean, quiet and secure. Front desk service was good for both morning and night shift. Bar snacks and coffee were also appreciated. Breakfast was standard with lots of options but still good if you are pressed on time and need something quick before heading out.
