First time staying at a Tru by Hilton. I must say I was impressed by the simplicity and cleanliness. Wish I had had a longer time there to enjoy the exercise room. Loved it and will definitely consider them a top choice in the future. My only complaint is the small refrigerator and not much fresh fruit for breakfast.

Worts Hotel Experience Ever

Worst hotel experience ever. Would rate with negative stars if possible. Tried to change booking date from Thursday/Friday. To Friday Saturday a week in advance. Was told that saturday rate was increased to 200/night. Cancelled thursday and kept friday. Wife shows up with children and friday reservation cancelled. On previous stay, had to take out the trash in the lobby area because there was not sufficient staff. Avoid this hotel. Horrible management.

Hannah who checked us in could use a class or two on her attitude. Never even faked a smile. Wasn't helpful with regard at Hilton rewards questions at all.
Colleen, Carolyn and Brandon were complete opposites the next morning. Smiles and so friendly and engaging. We were laughing and talking as if we knew them for years!

Some people aren't made for customer service

The front desk clerk seems agitated that she even had to be there. She was not friendly in the lesst. Her lips were pursed like she was disgusted. She did not speak above a mumble and only gave single or double word answers. She might as well have said, "Get the hell out." We would have felt just as welcomed if she had. I went to the lobby a while after checking in to get an ice bucket. You would have thought I'd asked her to knit a sweater. Everyone has the right to have a bad day, but at least try to be friendly!

just a very short stay. The room was quite comfortable. I appreciated the hot chocolate in the lobby.
