Lovely hotel and fabulous staff

Had a night here as part of a few days away. This was the second time I had been to the hotel and it really is fantastic.
We were welcomed on check in by a very friendly member of staff and she informed us we had been given an upgrade to the room with a river view (due to being a Gold Hilton Honours Member) and had got the best room in the hotel!
Had a couple of drink and a meal in the bar in the evening. Food was lovely and all the staff were very attentive.
Breakfast was good, but was very bust as it was Easter Day.
I would recommend this hotel and the view from the 5th floor of the River Tees and the North Yorkshire Moors was an added bonus.

Return Stay

We recently returned for a one night stay whilst visiting the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but badly scuffed on all walls and also there was a lot black mould in the shower and also the hose. Breakfast was not as good as previous visits. We stay here approx. six times per year we will be back but this stay wasn't as good.

The stay was not that good for a hilton garden inn hotel brand. The breakfast was slow and not good service

Beautiful hotel

This hotel is a beautiful hotel and an ideal position if you are visiting the globe. Staff are so friendly and nothing a bother to them. Rooms are lovely and very comfortable and clean. Very good choice for breakfast . Parking at the hotel and was only £7.00 for the night .

Lovely hotel, the only criticism for me was the bed was a little hard for my liking and the base was bigger than the matress and knocked myself a few times but other than that everything was excellent and the staff werr lovely and very helpful, if up that way again would definitely stay there again 😊
