This is just fantastic

Beautiful property and absolutely lovely hosts, couldn’t fault it and will be booking again. The location is super quiet and peaceful and the rooms were so clean, it had a home from home feel to it.

Weekend away

We were attending an event at Belvoir Castle and wanted somewhere quiet to stay. The old Nursery was perfect. Located in the village of Stathern, tucked away down a picturesque lane. A few mins walk to local pub and a little shop, that had the basics you might need. Prior to our stay we had great communication from Deb the owner. Friendly welcome on arrival we had the double room o the ground floor just off the hall. Not just a double room with ensuite it also had a little room with a table and chairs with a view of the drive and some of the garden. Tea and coffee, fresh milk and water and lovely homemade cake each day we stayed. Breakfast in the kitchen which was a lovely setting and you could see the private garde of the owners. Breakfast was lovely, cereal, yogurt, juice coffee tea I clouding decaf, which was gratefully appreciated. Debs chatted while we were watching her cook which was at a right level, she showed great interest in our Steampunk hobby and took a lovely picture outside her lovely home when were in our costumes. Couldn't fault any part of our stay. There is a family room upstairs and children welcome. If we go to the event next year we will definitely stay there again

Highly recommended

Had a really lovely overnight stay whilst visiting nearby Belvoir Castle. A warm welcome, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented en-suite accommodation. A really good breakfast too! Thank you very much!

Fantastic BandB

What a fantastic find. We stopped here after a brutal journey on the a1. Unable to continue we called Bev who was so very accommodating and welcomed us in with open arms.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The sofa bed for our kids in one room, and our bed in the adjoining room was a great setup.
Lovely hospitality and a fantastic breakfast. We felt very welcome and so thankful that we had a lovely stop in an otherwise bleak day.

Gorgeous guest house!!!

We spent three days at this guesthouse lovely grounds big spacious rooms very clean and well-kept the lady of the house was so welcoming and accommodating woke up each morning to a lovely cooked breakfast we will definitely be visiting again thank you for such a lovely stay!!
