Love This Place

We’ve been eating at this beautiful pub for a few months now and have never been disappointed.
The food is fabulous. We recently tried the Sunday Lunch menu and it was huge.
The staff are really nice and the interiors are well presented with a selection of areas to sit.
It’s also extremely dog friendly and provides a menu for dogs too.

Superb Sunday Roast

Booked Sunday lunch on a whim as we were staying in the area for a few days and the menu looked good. Ended up staying in the pub for over 5 hours...The Sunday roast was exceptional, meat was beautifully seasoned & cooked, there were plenty of veggies and the Yorkshires were a work of art.
What made the meal even more special though was the attentiveness of the staff and the friendliness of our fellow diners. Although we were nearly 3hrs from home, it felt like we'd just walked into our local where we'd been going for years.
Truly a special pub and one to which we fully intend to return as soon as possible! Thanks for a fantastic meal and making it such wonderful experience.

Stupendous Sunday Lunch

Absolutely lovely Sunday dinner. Mash was creamy, red cabbage to die for, a huge Yorkshire pudding, cabbage, carrots, broccoli and my lentil loaf. Just delicious and thoroughly filling. No room for desert as it was so plentiful. Will definitely return

Best dog friendly hotel ever

Another fantastic overnight stay in The Northumberland arms, this time with four legged pooch with us , after an amazing huge lunch we were shown to our dog friendly room , dog basket and blanket supplied , treats and poo bags also included , and a ball … what a treat for the dog . Our room was huge and well stocked with tea coffee water etc bathroom was also huge and small toiletries supplied , a rare thing these days , Dinner was a feast for the eyes and the belly , the chefs know there stuff it was well presented and delicious A beautiful village and was lucky enough to see a couple of Kingfishers by the river .. so worth a visit .. Claire is such a darling and is happy to help with anything she can .. top staff .. planning our next visit ..

Perfect place to stay !!

We recently stayed at the Northumberland Arms for 2 nights and we was delighted with everything ! Our room was called the 'New moor Tower' it was lovely very clean and spacious the shower room was spotless and clean also. The food at the Northumberland Arms is faultless, I'm so pleased we ate there both nights our choices of meals we're very nice, especially my steak and mushroom pie !
Tracey my partner requires a Gluten free diet and was not disappointed with the choice. Breakfast both mornings was excellent ! All the staff we met we're extremely helpful and friendly.
Car parking not a problem.
Thank you Northumberland Arms for our enjoyable stay and well done everyone who makes the place work to perfection.
