Cancelled our booking a week before

Booked 9 months ago for our stay today got email saying you have cancelled our booking shocking so glad we are not staying here the reviews are terrible run down and dirty will never book with you ever again thankyou OYO very disapointed

They canceled our reservation 4 days before.

DO NOT BOOK AT OYO TOWNHOUSE SUSSEX Hotel LONDON in Paddington. They canceled our reservation 4 days before the established date. We had paid in full for the stay, almost a year before, and then confirmed it 2 months before the trip. When they informed us of the cancellation, they told us to request a refund through booking.com, which was the platform we used. However, they had not made the cancellation on that site. We had to ask them to cancel on booking.com in order to access the refund. All this while on vacation and without knowing where we were going to stay when we arrived in London. Finally they did, and booking.com refunded our money. We suspect that they are speculating with the NO-Show. Make a claim if you booked through the platform. Reading other opinions, we see that we have not been the only ones affected in the same way, and that cancellation with a few days' notice is common.

Unhygienic & Squalid Hotel

Almost certainly the worste hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of hygiene and condition of the room. If you like mold, old toilet paper squasehed into holes in the bathroom, previous visitors urine and pubic hairs over the ensuite toilet and bits of skirting board and door trim missing then this is the hotel for you. I contacted the hotel, they weren't interested. Shame the rating choices didn't include squalid this pretty well sums up our room!

Awful . Poor quality and dreadful customer service!

Dirty room, with holes in the skirting board stuffed with tissue. Shower was mouldy and dirty. The sink plug didn’t drain, the bathroom was so small the sink was hanging over your knees when sat on the loo and if you tried to bend over the sink to spit the toothpaste your bottom pushed the door open! There were repairs being carried out at midnight on a Saturday evening with banging and noise til 1am! I complained including providing pictures of the problem and got told it didn’t happen!?!

All was good for my room except for clogging in shower room. I already told the reception from the day we checked in. However, they told they will fix the clogging issue the next day. Unfortunately, we came back in the evening to the hotel room and it wasn’t fixed yet. The receptionist offered us a new room which we need to change from level 2 to level 4 walk up (meaning no elevator). It was 11pm and I had my mother with me. I declined the offer as that wasn’t a good option for us. I wrote an email to the hotel manager about this and they just ignored my email. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for your stay in London. The fee should include a comfortable shower room but that wasn’t my case for 3 days 2 nights stay.
