Amazing
Amazing! Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights for my 30th Birthday and we weren't disappointed. The staff were lovely and a credit to the business, warm and welcoming whilst professional. Our room was lovely and was decorated to a high standard in keeping with the hotels theme, we had an amazing time. The cocktails we're amazing, nothing was too much to ask for and we definitely would recommend.

Rock star treatment!!
ROMANTIC!!! Love, love this hotel. It exceeded all my expectations. I want to thank Ryan, Jake and Carlo for their exceptional service. A quick WhatsApp message and they were there fast with anything we requested. Best customer service I've had in a long time. Room and restroom very clean. Bed was really comfy. I highly recommend adding the "Treat me like I'm Famous" package. It's well worth it. They really do make u feel special. Champagne upon arrival, beautifully decorated room (petals on bed, chocolates on pillow and balloons), special drink made in your room, late night cookies, breakfast at your door. You also get a bottle of bubbly which I upgraded to Moet for a small fee. I read mixed reviews and was a little hesitant but so glad I went. You won't be disappointed if you have realistic expectations. Yes, the room is small but very cute and comfy. Some reviews complained about not having a table to eat but we love bed picnics so it was perfect. The hallways are very unique, like something out of the movies, a little dim and lined with red velvet curtains. Location was perfect, short walk to lots of restaurants, shops, bars, castle, etc. I recommend to anyone in Edingburgh looking for a special and romantic stay.

Spoil yourself
Best cocktails ever, excellent staff - shout out to Miles and Africa. We were made to feel special from the minute we arrived to leaving. A night away with a difference - thoroughly recommend, especially if taking advantage of one of the deals

It's time to live like a Rock Star at the House of God's!!
When someone offers you a glass of Prosecco as you come through the door you just KNOW you're in the right place! The entire experience was fantastic. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Our suite was very well appointed and absolutely spotless. Great bed and amenities, we couldn't have been happier. Prosecco on ice in the room, cocktails galore downstairs in the beautiful cocktail bar, milk and cookies when we got back in at night and a fabulous breakfast hamper with mimosas to kick start our day! Some of the reviews have been inconsistent but in my opinion you have everything here to have a fantastic stay and the staff make everything so special. If you don't have a good time you've only yourself to blame. House of God's ROCKS!! Thanks for a great stay everyone, we miss you already.

Don't just think about it, book it...
Wow Decadence meets Vice . From start to finish I felt like a superstar. From the warm welcome I knew I had made the right choice in booking.
Stunning unique entrance, the bar is small and comfy serving their own labelled prosecco and cocktails to die for.
My favourite has to be Bohemian Gold, , although Exploding Drum did come high up. Each cocktail is individual and I loved the stories that explained the names..this was no ordinary cocktail list. In fact it's a book in its own right.
Now the room, a four poster bed and atmospheric lighting, made it something to remember. The rooms are not huge but it's the little touches that make it a huge experience. The TV built into the mirror, the Mirror that opens into a coffee machine .
The number of full length mirrors made dressing up for the night easy - have you noticed how many hotels don't have full length mirrors, well House of Gods have you well and truly covered with that. Two full length mirrors as well as another in the wonderfully lit bathroom.
I might add the ,lighting in the room may be dark but round the coffee machine mirror they have lighting especially for putting on makeup while the other half showers.
Touch of genius there. There is also lighting round the bed making it really special.
The bed is comfy and I felt like a Queen lying there.
Speaking of little touches, a glass of prosecco when we arrived, a bottle of prosecco in our room which was upgraded (thanks guys) to a bottle of Moet, and quality boxes of chocolates ,s, gold leaves and balloon on the room are included in the Treat me like I'm famous package.
If you want to feel special and live like a celebrity then book now. It's like the Orient Express , and a little bit of the orient rolled up in a package of delights for the soul.
We will definitely be back. Specially thanks to Murray for making us feel so welcome, he even recognised my voice from the dealings we had had on the phone, Jade for the very warm welcome, Chris in reservations again for a warm welcome and so many others.
The cleaning staff are so friendly and took time to chat and show us the cabin rooms as we were leaving, These are stunning too, so quirky, they really did remind us of our trip on the orient Express.
Truly this was a night to remember and savour for a long time to come.
