Basic and cheap for Zürich

Basic rooms. Shower awful, falling off the wall when turned on. The location is ok about 10 mins walk from HB. Good bar opposite open very late. If from Uk bring a uk-Swiss adapter as I messaged the hotel to ask if they had uk adapters and they said yes but on arrival said they had given them all out. Luckily I had taken a euro adapter too and they had an adapter for that.

Poor location even for the low price

This ‘hotel’ is more like a hostel. Situated in what can only be described as the rough part of town- there’s a grubby bar downstairs and it’s connected to one of several strip clubs surrounding the hotel. The noise even on the 3rd floor was horrific, with noise from drunk locals up until 6am.
The hotel wasn’t clean, despite a “this toilet has been cleaned and disinfected” sticker on it the toilet had left over urine from the previous users.
There’s no air con and the fans in the room or positioned so that they have no affect when sleeping, and seen as having the windows open is a no go due to noise, a working fan would have been nice.
Finally the door handles fell off if you closed the doors with too quickly. Overall would not recommend- I know it’s the cheapest in Zurich but I would rather have not visited the city than pay for another sleep deprived night in this hotel.

Satisfactory

We stayed for one night only, passing through Zürich by train. For the price and location it was fine, room clean and quiet even though we were at the front, over the street. It took longer than we thought to walk from the station, plus an extra map: about 20 minutes. Check-in is via the bar, staff friendly and helpful. The bathroom is private but not ensuite.

add more € and better stay other place !

i stay 2 night from 22 jan.. so today i received report from my Credit Card , that Gregory hotel charged me 2x ( 1x the time match with my arrival time — 2nd time 22.57 which for sure i already sleep )
i asked the women first time who handle my booking, she looks nervous, and surprise when i came to her.. And after she said to meet other staff who handle hotel stuff... as i will checkout at 7am , have no idea if someone will be there...

Stay somewhere else!

I booked this hotel because it said parking was available, but there is no parking on site! I had to leave my car in a service entrance to check in. The check in area is a bar, and there was no one tending it (this was about 6 pm)! Finally a girl sitting at the bar went back to find someone to help me, but after 15 minutes no one came so we left. Now I'm trying to get my money back after not staying there!
