I would choose it again if I return to Fes.
Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Very clean bathroom with hygiene products, towels and hair dryer. Spectacular breakfast with local products and homemade preparation. Spectacular view of the Medina from the roof. Well located to reach the main places of interest on foot.

Spectacular
This Riad is quite beautiful. Like all Riads its all behind a plain door. When you walk in the architecture and detailing is breathtaking. The welcome from the hosts is also very warm. We booked a transfer from the airport. The taxi dropped us at a gate and someone from the Riad walked us the 5 minutes to the Riad. It was very helpful as we might have struggled to find the building on our own.
The rooms are very lovely, beautifully furnished.
In summary, this is the best Riad I have ever stayed in and have seen a lot.

Highly Recommended
It’s an elegant place, beautiful traditional Riad in the heart of the old Medina, where you can feel like you are home, rooms are clean and comfortable, fantastic friendly staff, beautiful terrace with panoramic view, attractive courtyard, delicious homemade cooking with amazing touch of details. In short: highly recommended

a palace to discover and live in
This Riad is a palace as it s named for Riad Fes Palacete. it is a small charming Riad with all caracter of love and care and relax to stay at; and we felt again that we are again king and queen in this huge Rooms with view over the town and the balcony in the room gave us a feeling of a honeymoon time
it was recomanded by the lady in our previous hotel In Chefchaouen Hotel Casa Miguel.
we trusted her choice because she is an honest person that you can rely on her suggestions on almost all fields.
when we came to this Riad we got duzzeled with the architecture of the place and the Suites are amazingly decorated. the staff also here was very helful , nice , outgoing , and professional. they come to the gate to meet us and walk us to the hotel and welcome us with a mint tea and some moroccan pasteries. we spent another 4 days there. we opt for a complete pension for an interesting price and amazing food menu ehre we tried most of the morocan dishes such as pastilla, couscous, , Morrocan soup "Harira" , and even we tried camel humberger lunch and every day we had different menu with delicious taste and decorations.
the staff makes sure that we do not need anything. we spent some evenings at the terrace with a panoramique veiw over the whole medina with delicious drinks.
unfortunately, most of gift shops were closed temporary because of COVID but we enjoyed our visits to the historical monuments and the ting small allies.
their breakfast were exceptional and costumized to our taste.
in this Riad really you can feel very cozy relaxed and the choice of music they have is artistic.
for sure, we will visit this riad soon with our friends and family.
I would like to recommand it to everyone who loves cozy places with much care of the personel.

Avoid
We booked 2 so-called suites (1 junior with 2 twin beds, 1 panoramic king) for our family of 4 for over $1500 for 3 nights. I understand the economics of surge pricing, and that we made the reservation last minute. The ’panoramic king’ room we were given did NOT have a kingsize bed (please do NOT give me nonsense about the king size beds outside the US being smaller). The so called panoramic view referred to 2 small windows. The entire riad was smelly.
We expect at least a minimum standard, for instance, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. We bought hand washing soap and shampoo the next day ( it was very inexpensive, but an inconvenience) because there was none.
Sara the receptionist was polite but new, and was left alone to manage the place. No where does it say that the hotel is inside the walled medina and a steep 15 minute walk from the nearest gate. We called from the airport that we were on our way, Sara came to receive us with no porter, so we lugged our luggage through the incline. Once we reached the riad, we found out that our rooms were several flights of stairs up, we asked for help to carry them. Sara kept saying she was new and that there was no one to help, so we lugged our suitcases (my husband and I have bad backs). One of the bathrooms had no lighting. We wanted to have an early breakfast because of jetlag, and to optimise our schedule, but we were told that the earliest they could provide breakfast was 9 AM. I can go on and on but will stop here. Wadi was helpful later but was not around the day we arrived. I am amazed that this place is rated so highly, makes me wonder whether the reviewer who wrote just the 1 5* review stayed here. I wish trip advisor would allow us to filter the reviews and only view those by members who have more reviews to their credit.
