A warm place in the heart of the Huasteca Potosina
The hotel is small but they keep it in very good condition, picturesque, pretty and very tidy.
The beds are quite comfortable, the bathroom has plenty of towels and the cleanliness is impeccable. A problem for those who sleep very lightly is that the hydropneumatic system makes some noise during the night but nothing that does not allow for a good rest.
Their breakfast is continental, there is milk, delicious local bread, fruit that they put back if it runs out, cereal and juice. It is very basic but it is clean and they are attentive, it is only offered from 08:00 to 10:00 but there are a couple of tables and a bar with dishes always available if you bring something to eat.
The staff is attentive, although they don't have much of an idea when it comes to giving a recommendation on where to eat and they don't know recommended places in the area.
The parking lot is behind the hotel, half a block away and is safe and free of charge, just ask at reception beforehand so they can give you directions on how to get in as access is a bit complicated.
If you need a local guide for the tours, they recommended Guillermo de Huasteca Potosina Tours / Aquismón with whom they work and it was an excellent recommendation, it made the difference for us to get to know Huasteca.
Without a doubt when we return to Aquismón we will return to Santa Lucía.
