Yellow Square was a great place to stay as a solo Traveler. It’s secure and clean and they have a lot of activities and info for travelers. Staff was great, really friendly and helpful. There is also a laundromat which is super convenient. Great stay!

Everything is good. It’s good place to live. In addition, they provide free drinks and pasta.

Don't waste your time with this place.

A terrible, awful service. I was treated extremely badly. Unbelievable the lack of cordiality. We had a problem regarding the age of one of the guests (pasmem: people over 45 years old can not stay in shared rooms, but we only knew about it there!!!). The absurd justification for this: the "IDOSAS" people make negative evaluations!!! And the worst, they don't offer you any solution, much less a refund. So if you go to Rome, forget about that place or you get angry.

Terrible place

They left my friend and her mom without a room because of a ridiculous policy that doesn't allow people over 45 years old to stay in shared rooms. They had already paid for the room and are now trying to find a place to stay in Rome, but the hostel refuses to refund them. This is insane.

Not everyone is welcome

They didn't even let me check in. I was kicked out of there for my age. They didn't give the slightest help for us to arrange another last minute place.
It was a terrible experience. I don't want anyone going through what we've been through.
Employee Thiago was very arrogant and rude with us. At no time came to ask if we needed help. They said we didn't have a direct refund.
Thiago said older people misjudge the hostel. Because there's a lot of noise, people get drunk.
They even suggested that my daughter check in and I stay on the street.
After hours of stress, despair and search for a room in Rome last minute and have to pay the amount that is absurd last minute. We did it. And we still had to pay the stay fee in Rome again.
I always stay in a hostel in NY, in Portugal, in Spain. But at the yellow hostel I was not welcome.
I do not recommend this hostel to anyone. It was very humiliating.
