We could not find better
We stayed in August with friends to escape the heat of the city and found Paradise in this ancient dwelling in the heart of the Madonie. Characteristic structure with well-kept outdoor spaces where you can relax. Great traditional food, we are a complicated group both for various food intolerances and ethical choices, but they have satisfied us in everything going even beyond our expectations. Owner Luigi is a generous and very nice person, assisted by his wife very professional and affable. You feel the love for the work they do. Experience to be repeated

Exquisite location and people (I'm talking about the owners) Old-time cuisine with zero-mile ingredients in the midst of nature and animals raised in the wild. We will happily return. A special thank you to Mr. Luigi

Missed holiday fun.
The organizer must have been aware of the defects.
Significant impairment.
Our good upbringing, however, prohibits us from expressing our feelings and uploading videos and photos. Please contact us.
No balcony, no private terrace, nothing, absolutely nothing in the room. No possibility for a simple walk outside. Fenced in.
No loungers...
No possibility to spend time comfortably.
You couldn't even make a cup of tea. There is intentionally nothing in the rooms.
Shopping in town is not possible.
Access blocked by a construction project that has been going on for years, so you had to take a 40 km detour EVERY DAY to get to the next shop.
(20 km there, 20 km back). No direct access possible.
This was not mentioned even after booking and inquiries. Since the construction site has been there for such a long time, it must have been assumed that the organizer had not missed this either.

Everything was very, very difficult. You are completely isolated. If you don't want to lie in bed all day, you are forced to take very, very long and very time-consuming routes.
Absolutely no relaxation for us.
On the contrary.
Peeling walls. Mold.
Vermin everywhere.
The back wall of the cupboard was loose. The objects fell into this hole.
The grate in the toilet was broken.
Animal droppings under the grate.
Our journey took a whole day.
There were also difficult, badly damaged mountain paths and a very steep driveway with a particularly sharp, dangerous bend.
When we arrived, we wanted to eat in the evening and were really looking forward to our stay and the lovely evening.
Eating on the terrace with a nice red wine...
Result: In the dark cellar. Tap water, even though we ordered mineral water. Mineral water was charged.
We got a very thin piece of fatty, sinewy meat. Not tender.
The "various" vegetables consisted only of some simply cooked cauliflower. This was as it grows. With stalks. Without spices.
The meat had a very bad taste and my wife sent the meal back immediately.
The "boss" said that she had it prepared for my wife and would not let up on the bill. She charged us 45 euros.
Legally: If you tell us straight away, no bill can be issued.
We were not allowed to try the wine beforehand.
The whole bottle was charged, even though it had a vinegar taste. We did not drink it.
We usually have always had a very good experience with the house wines.
You have to drive up the winding, dangerous mountain...
Half an hour to the beach: Due to the forced detour, it is not half an hour, but at least one there and one back.
This beach consists only of stones and coarse gravel. This is not mentioned anywhere either.
The road is extremely busy.
Very sharp bends, especially one.
Very dangerous at night and especially when it is still raining.
After we did not get to the paid dinner, we were shown to a tiny table at the very back in the corner, even though all the tables were free and there were hardly any guests.
We were told that the tables occupied by the guests at dinner are occupied by the same guests at breakfast, because the napkins are used again.
Different treatment.
Depending on how much you spend at dinner.
If it is a lot, you even get a candle in the evening.
After traveling to this prairie for a day, I was very hungry and had to eat this thin, fatty, tough piece of meat. More than half of the fat was cut off.
No shopping or other options for miles. There is nothing anywhere.
When we ordered mineral water, we were given tap water. Was charged. Towels and toilet paper should only be used sparingly. We had to buy towels. We received a document: Family business.
Breakfast: The same thing every day. And only what is provided.
