Un soggiorno molto piacevole!! Consiglio!!

Abbiamo soggiornato in coppia nel B&b Santa Caterina a Ercolano per soli due giorni ed eravamo veramente dispiaciuti di partire. Il B&b è situato in una zona molto comoda, nella zona turistica vicino a ristoranti, paninoteche, scavi di Ercolano e circumvesuviana. Si raggiunge facilmente anche il centro di Portici a piedi in 15 minuti che la sera è più adatto per frequentare locali notturni. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio offrendoci consigli e spiegandoci le varie “istruzioni” del b&b. Ci ha permesso di entrare in stanza anche prima del check-in per poterci fare una doccia veloce e al check-out ci ha concesso un’ora in più in stanza vista la pioggia. La stanza curata e pulita, con lenzuola profumate e morbide. Il balcone è sicuramente un punto in più anche se la vista non è delle migliori. La televisione funziona solo se si utilizzano canali Wi-Fi tipo Netflix, rai play, YouTube, ma comunque noi li preferiamo ai normali canali satellitari quindi è stato davvero comodo. Solo una piccola pecca: la colazione ci è stata servita in camera in un vassoio e ci aspettavamo una scelta più ampia invece abbiamo mangiato delle brioches e un caffé entrambe le mattine. Attenzione se avete problemi motori: niente ascensore e 2 piani di scale da salire!
In fin dei conti, buonissimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Uncomfortable

B&b created from an apartment located in an old building in the center of Herculaneum.
The rooms are on the second floor and there is no lift.
The room we were assigned was quite large, the bathroom decidedly small.
What immediately catches the eye in the furnishings is the lack of wardrobes and above all lampshades on the bedside tables.
Courteous owner, breakfast served in the room at 08.30 with pastry croissants and coffee from a domestic pod machine.
The supply of towels was insufficient as were the soaps for the shower and the bars of soap which crumbled as soon as they were opened.
However, the decidedly less convenient thing was the absolute lack of parking options which forced us to leave the car 1 km on foot from the structure. The few places on the street (for a fee) were all occupied by residents in the evening and the free ones on the parallel road were at risk of being removed because the vintage market takes place every day in that area.

HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE location, HORRIBLE woman- for 2-3 euros more you can get an insanely better alternative b&b

the woman responsible for opening up to guests made me wait 45 min in a rank alley (where the b&b is located)- debris was physically blowing in my face, as i waited and waited. i had called the cell-nr displayed on the front door, and she had answered, saying she would be there in "uno minutti"- which i dared interpret as, 'she will be here shortly, give or take 10 min".she finally arrived, and i was extremely annoyed by then--if she had said "i will be there in 45 min" i couldve gone and had a coffee somewhere and been okay with waiting (it was 11am afterall, and check in isnt officially until later, so the fact she wasnt there in principle is totally justified). but please dont tell someone you will be there in one minute and make them stand around like an idiot for almost an hour, in sweltering heat in a rank sticky disgusting alley. i was so annoyed with her lack of professionalism and inability to communicate, that once she arrived --and had shown me a sad little dusty old room with a view of the building one meter infront of my room--she confirmed my total dislike of the place by telling me that i had to pay an additional 20 euros for an early check in. i told her i would be back later then, to avoid this ridiculous additional pay. i found another hostel, the Golden Mile, a couple blocks back up the main road, where i thought id walked into a small safe haven of cleanliness and elegance --especially compared to the pile of absolute rubbish had just left. please i beg you, do not go to this horrible bed and breakfast; it was sad depressing unprofessional and disgustingly located. for only a couple euros more you can get a seriously lovely place. do not give these people your business. (when i told the woman -after she finally showed up after almost an hour of me standing around, that she shouldnt tell people she will be there in "uno minutti" when she knows it will take 45min+ to get there---she actually had the nerve to say that is my problem, not hers) seriously, disgusting place, in and outside.

Spend a little more for so much better

Poor value for money, I recommend to go to a hotel...the price is just slightly higher (almost the same), spend a little more for so much better.
The showers were cold! Situated in a charmless block on the 2nd floor without a lift.
The owner doesn't speak English.

Bisogna segnalare che la struttura è al secondo piano senza ascensore. Bisogna inserire nei supplementi il costo x i cani anche di piccola taglia. 15 euro giorno per un cane di piccola taglia è eccessivo avrei prenotato altrove
