My rating is for the hotel and the restaurant
My company is 5km away from this hotel - I have probably stayed at any hotel in the region and this hotel is so far the best one. I stayed in room 4 and paid 130 EUR incl. breakfast - so certainly not cheap.
What I liked
- Warm welcome, everybody was prepared. My name was known all the time during the stay and everybody was very friendly
- Large rooms, probably the largest ones I have seen so far
What I liked
- Spacious rooms is a mix of modern style and an old building (see my pictures)
- Well equipped bath room
- Very modern style large oversize bed with a firm but excellent mattress
- High quality and delicious food in the attached restaurant.
- Free WiFi and good speed
- Clean and quiet - very cozy
- Hotel situated in a pedestrian area and near the river Main. Very romantic.
What I did not like
- no parking in front of the building but since it is in the middle of a pedestrian area you can stop if front for check-in. There are plenty of parking spots in about 100m distance.
I can absolutely recommend staying here if you want a special hotel and don´t mind the family type small character of this hotel.

Auch für das Auge
Anfangs war das Personal emsig am Werk, aber nachdem sich das Lokal füllte, fehlte wohl den jungen Leuten so der rechte Überblick. Sie liefen zwar durch die Reihen, beobachteten auch die Tische, sahen aber nicht, dass manch einer Gast auch noch einen Wunsch hat.
Ich z.B. verzehrte mit Vergnügen und Hochgenuss feas Ostermenü. Nur: die Nachspeise, die dem Menü inbegriffen war, ließ auf sich warten. Nach ca. Einer halben Stunde meldete ich mich zu Wort und flugs wurde wenigstens das Besteck bereit gelegt. Fünf Minuten später wurde das Besteck zurecht gerückt. Aber nichts weiter geschah. Auf meine Frage, wann mit dem Nachtisch zu rechnen sei, kam die prompte Antwort (wörtlich):“ wenn er fertig ist“. Liegt es an der Ausbildung oder der momentanen Laune des jungen Fräuleins.
Eigentlich schade: denn das Essen alleine hätte alle Punkte verdient gehabt.
