The hotel was fantastic Staff excellent, spa excellent, restaurant excellent food excellent . All round this hotel exceeded all expectations would stay at this hotel again.

Great wellness area, great cuisine, quiet and cozy rooms
On the whole, we had a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Quellenhof, except for a few little woes. The restaurant has very good cuisine, we had a 3-course menu and were delighted with the quality of the food.
The spa area is very cozy and the pool large and welcoming. Just a small deduction here - it was a couple with a small child (about 2 years old) in the pool, which of course does not fit here, because you are looking for more rest and relaxation in the wellness area. There are small children rather out of place. However, this is tolerated in the spa area by the staff. But these guests should rather go to a family hotel. I'd be very uncomfortable if my little child staged such a noise in the 5-star spa area as if you were in a universal spa.
Otherwise we liked it very much in the wellness area, where we were every day. It's best to go here in the early afternoon, then avoid the biggest rush. Especially recommended are the cosmetic treatments, the 90-minute facial has completely thrilled and relaxed me.;-)
The rooms are cozy and big enough for two. The TV for a cozy TV evening in bed is a decent size. Unfortunately, we could not transfer our program to the smart TV, perhaps because of outdated technology on the part of the hotel? Since the channel selection is rather meager and many guests would like to stream a movie from their own device in the evening, you should check it again, then the entertainment program fits...
Unfortunately, I have to make a few more small prints here, because no toilet paper was refilled in the bathroom, the minibar was yawning empty and also insufficiently cooled (incorrectly installed in the cupboard, the ventilation on the refrigerator simply cannot do its job) and there was also no shoe spoon. As a heavily pregnant woman almost impossible to put on my shoes without it and that I am rather “limited” in this regard, we had mentioned several times both in advance when booking and at check-in, so that there are no misunderstandings and the hotel can prepare for them if necessary.
The bathrobes are unfortunately a bit outdated, already quite scratchy and also a bit small, perhaps from the many washing... The XL turns out more like an M. I'm pregnant right now, but I don't have an excessively large stomach, yet I barely got the bathrobe closed. What do only the guests who are really a little wider do? A few new purchases would make sense, because wellness is a program for most guests in this hotel, I suppose, and you should be prepared accordingly.
All staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very rich, breakfast on weekends available until 11 am, since everything is still in there for the late risers.;-) And it was really refilled until the end of the shift, at least they tried very hard despite a busy crowd, especially on Sunday.
On the positive side, I also noticed that the guests fit in with the more upscale ambience of the hotel. At the dinner in the restaurant most gentlemen wore a jacket and of course the ladies dressed appropriately. At breakfast a similar picture emerged. Here you feel comfortable and get what you expect from a 5-star hotel.
We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back.

Christmas brunch
We attended the champagne brunch on the 1st. Attended Christmas Day.
At breakfast there were no touted à la carte egg dishes, only wheat bread / rolls (in any good restaurant / hotel you also get rye or spelt bread). The grate beef at lunch was dry and the desserts were offered like in a canteen in the glass fridge.
Brunch took place in a bare conference room overlooking an unkempt atrium. Even after several e-mails to the hotel we have not received a reply. We are very disappointed.

Traditional setting; post-Covid service
The spacious lobby, gorgeous clean swimming pool, beautiful suites and grounds next to a park make this hotel a memorable reflection of the past. Yet the lack of a concierge and the fact that the spa manager is also the masseuse brings the reality of pinched service. One must again use an app, a map, or forget it.

Not to be missed!
More than 20 years that we come, it means everything from the hotel...but, "if I take the pen" here it is to share our fabulous spa experience with Angela who offered us absolutely exceptional massage moments!!! Thanks again, Angela and see you soon...
