very pleasant
Rooms were super clean and beds new matresses and comfy.
Option to pull the double bed apart into twin beds.
The open door windows were gorgeous and gave you the parisian feel!
Bathroom nice and clean with great utilities such as argan oil shampoo
Hotel is 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station Pont Cardinet
5 minute walk to the best patisserie we’ve ever had, the french bastards!
Very few nit picks such as the lift was super tiny but wasn’t a problem whatsover
the rooms are also quite small but was perfectly fine for 2 people but wouldn’t recommend for big families
the bathroom was super clean but the shower was quite odd, more of a mist than water pressure so had to hold onto the shower head but again wasn’t really an issue

A good selection of cafés and restaurants are a stone’s throw away. The surrounding area is very quiet and residential. To sum up, the Hotel Gaston is spot on for a short stay in an exceptional city!

Disappointment
The room is small but sufficient
Decent breakfast, but a little expensive for the price, especially when you only have coffee and bread
The problem is the shower room , my husband wasn’t there, but he’s 1.92 m tall, which means he has to bend over to get into the shower (top bar) and the opening of the doors is 45. So don't be too fat because it doesn't pass.
The bathroom is very very cramped, the shower is spartan, there is just a small pommel see photo
My note 3 concerns cleanliness , and the state of common areas
I don’t know if my room had been vacuumed before my arrival, but I have doubts.
The taps were not clear.
The carpet is more used, even discoloured
The corridors are not clean, I’m not even sure that the condition of the elevator on the ground is sucked every day. Ditto, in short, even if the situation suits me, I am not sure I will come back to it.
Moreover, asking customers if they want us to make their room and they have to say it the day before, it is a little borderline, especially when we do not make any discounts, even if it is for the sake of personnel management, economy, ...

Même si nous aurions préféré que votre expérience ait été plus agréable, vos retours et impressions sont très importants pour nous, car ils nous aident à améliorer quotidiennement nos services.
nous avons fait part a notre direction de vos impressions sur la propreté afin de prendre des mesures et d'y remédier, également des travaux de rénovations sont prévu l'année prochaine.
En effet nous avons mis en place un nouveau système pour le service de nettoyage afin qu'il soit fait à la demande pour des raisons écologique, afin de réduire emprunte carbone et avons mis en place un nouveau service de petit déjeuner (buffet en libre service) également dans ce but.
nous essayons à notre niveau d'hôtelier de nous impliquer dans la sauvegarde des ressources de notre planète pour limiter nos consommations d'eau d'électricité et a limiter l'emploi d'emballages individuels...
Nous proposons pour ceux qui souhaitent également adhérer a notre démarche le nettoyage à la demande.
Malheureusement lors des grèves SNCF nous avons eu du personnel manquant et avons dû nous réorganiser pour ceux qui souhaitait tout de même le nettoyage quotidien et nous en sommes encore navré.
Notre réception était disponible 24h, sur 24 pour renouveler les produits et linge.
Pour notre petit déjeuner continental,
nous proposons des œufs, charcuteries fromages, laitages, jus de fruits, viennoiseries, pain, brioche, pain complet, confitures, beurres, miel, boissons chaudes, fruits, salade de fruit, lait de vache, lait de soja, 3 types de céréales dont une sans gluten.
Pour les clients ne souhaitant prendre que du café des viennoiseries et du jus de fruit nous recommandons le petit déjeuner express a moitié tarif affiché en réception, et sur notre site également il me semble
Nous sommes également disponible en permanence pour vous conseiller, les boissons chaudes sont également a l'unité si vous le souhaitez .
