Stunning and highly recommended!

The Maison Sumiane is an oasis of calm and loveliness! We stayed in the Chambre Mahaut for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The room is large and very comfortable. The pool is beautifully maintained and the perfect place to read, swim and enjoy a glass of rosé (or two!). The surrounding garden is beautiful with an area to try your hand at pétanque.
The breakfasts are delicious. In addition to the freshly squeezed juice, bread and viennoiseries, we also enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning for a small supplement. Guillaume is truly the perfect host; attentive, responsive and so helpful with ideas as to what to do in the region.
Although the town of Brignoles itself is a tad run down, it has the bones of what was once a picturesque town. However, it is perfectly situated for day trips to places such as the Verdon Gorge, Cotignac and Bormes-les-Mimosas. There are a small number of restaurants available in Brignoles but booking ahead is a good idea.
I highly recommend the Maison Sumiane and would absolutely rebook.

We had a fantastic stay at Maison Sumiane! An exceptionally beautiful property, very tastefully furnished by owners with a great sense of detail. The hosts, Guillaume and his family, are super friendly and inviting, and Brignoles is a good base for excursions by bike or by car.

Guillaume was wonderful and welcoming- it is a beautifully restored house with charming gardens and very characterful rooms. We stayed for three nights during the last weekend of June and felt very happy there - a perfect location for exploring Provence and easy parking nearby. Would go back!

Family get together

Our family group of 14 had the pleasure of staying here for 8 days. It is beautiful and so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Beds were super comfortable and every room was en-suite .
The kitchen has an exceptionally good area for dancing and we danced every night.
The only slight pitfall was in the cottage, the step down to the kitchen are wasn’t obvious as the floors are stone and one of the elders in the group fell down the step.
If we are ever back in the area we would love to stay again

Il y a des lieux ou vous appréciez la chance de pouvoir séjourner. La maison Sumiane en fait partie. Là chambre Aude est très grande, atypique et avec tout le confort. Guillaume est très attentif à ses clients. Je reviendrai avec plaisir découvrir les autres chambres.
