Aging But Reasonably Well Maintained City Resort
The rooms are not new and modern but everything worked well and I did not see anything dirty or broken so they maintain the hotel well. Bottom line it might not be my favorite hotel in Cairo but I can safely recommend it because it has clear strong points.

Horrible experience and rude hotel staff
One significant incident highlighting the lack of respect for hotel residents and neighborhood.
Shame on you Marriott hotel.

Wonderful and friendly staff
I had an unpleasant experience at Egyptian Nights Cafe during prior visit and when I mentioned it to Mr Sami, he asked me to have tea at the Egyptian Nights Cafe and provide feedback. I did go back for Coffee and the experience was wonderful and pleasant. When I asked, I was told that Mr Sami is the new restaurant manager. Will be back for sure.
