Salsaaaa!

I took a dance class with teacher Natalia from the Mi Cuerpo es Mi Historia foundation, and my experience with her was great! There are many other teachers as well. It's a fantastic place to learn salsa and have a fun time with other backpackers. The hostel organizes multiple activities every day.

Traveller is Traveller but this is not his best place

Very chevere place and the Traveler does not fail (I have been to Tayrona, San Andres and ahira Cali), but in Cali the terrible bathrooms, damaged and there are only three for the whole hostel and host Laura is not what one expects in a host. The pool's really dirty. Nobody gets in for that.

Excellent hostel option in cali

Hostel well patched. Well located, reasonable prices and above all good service.
Special thanks to Maria paula and pipe for attending me so well. I'll come back and recommend for sure.
It's pretty cool. Offer activities and plans for travelers

Very good and professional salsa lessons

I was supposed to stay only few nights in Cali, I finally stayed a month in El Viajero. I had a very good time in there, learning Salsa and Chacha with VANESSA, the best dance teacher ever <3. Not only did I improve my salsa skills way more than I would expect, but I had a lot of great time and a lot of fun with her. Definitely recommend her if you want to have professional and fun dance lessons during your stay.
Thanks also to the whole team that was super nice.

Excellent facilities, pool was great, super social vibe, free salsa lessons in evening are fun, paid lessons are also available which my partner did.
No air conditioning in private bedrooms. A fan is provided but it doesn't do much, meaning a very warm sleep. Shared bathrooms and showers are less ideal but they are kept clean. The kitchen is VERY warm to cook in, there is a strong fan but it's not super fun to spend a lot of time in. Kitchen fridge is very full.
Surrounding area is good and feels safe at night. Highly recommend Creolle Lovers for a meal, just down the road.
