Amazing experience at Gungaporanga
1) The receptionists Thiago, Rosane and Mayara provided impeccable service from arrival to check-out, with great friendliness and helpfulness.
2) The room is spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the maid's name, but she also provided an excellent service, with quick and practical cleaning on almost every day of the stay.
3) The common areas are a spectacle in themselves, with an incredible landscaping project and a large, air-conditioned and very clean swimming pool. The furniture is very tasteful.
4) The restaurant's employees Victor and Cícero also deserve to be highlighted for their cordiality and first-class service, as does Donas, who served us every day at the restaurant during breakfast.
5) The service in general impressed me a lot due to the efficiency and cordiality of all the staff, who are also extremely discreet in their room service. All orders came quickly (both at the pool and in the room) and the food is sensational, at fair prices.
IMPORTANT TIP: this hotel is not on the seafront. It is important to have a car available to visit the nearby beaches (Barra de São Miguel and Gunga) if you plan to explore the region. From my experience, Gungaporanga is ideal for those who want to enjoy the facilities on site, and not use it as a base to get to know the region.
It is also important to know that the hotel offers a day use option, so it is recommended to take care of your belongings in the common areas. I forgot my sunglasses in the bathroom and unfortunately I couldn't find them again, even though I looked in the lost and found. This situation does not discredit the experience provided by the hotel (it has more to do with the nature of the passers-by who enjoy day use), but it is important to report it anyway.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. The stay was impeccable and I intend to return another time.

Disappointment
We know that the hotel is located in a forest and surrounded by a river, but detection to keep insects away is very necessary! On the first night we were greeted by a crab spider that was almost as long as my hand!! And amazingly, the employee said that this was a baby whose mother was almost a turtle!! For the love! Bugs Bunny? No!!! There they have BORRACHUDOS, half of my body was left with them!! I'm devastated by bites!!
The repellent they offer is perfect for these animals!!
We stayed in the master bungalow with an exclusive pool, which we had to ask them to clean because they left the water completely cloudy!!
Good breakfast, nothing special!! For the price they should deliver more!
Now the food
Disappointing from start to finish!
Supper was the epitome of disappointment!! Cold food!! We left hungry, as we couldn't eat cold food!!
Being in the gastronomic area, I went to give feedback to the manager, to improve the dishes, as they were really bad!!
He wanted to take the dishes off my bill!! NO FRIEND!! It's not that!! Stop being arrogant!! It was just to help them improve!!
But I have to give our thanks to Rodrigo (spectacular) to Thiago (super cool) to Rosane (loving person) and to Cícero (you have a huge future and who knows, you will improve gastronomy a lot).
The others really lacked tact with customers!!
I think the view from this place is the most beautiful in Brazil and one of the most beautiful in the world, but if you don't improve the gastronomy by actually adding a chef or at least a gastronomic consultancy you will always remain at this stage of just the beautiful view!!
In my opinion, for what is charged, they should provide an exclusive experience.
I wouldn't rate it here, I get very upset when I see negative comments, but I think it's only here that you will improve and review a lot of things out there!!
