Please inform Hotel Cortez of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. All guests, of all ages, must present a valid identification document upon check-in. This is mandatory, otherwise guests won't be allowed in the property. Foreign guest must additionally present a passport, migration documents and visa. Minors traveling without one or both of their parents must present a travel permit, provided by the legal entity (Defensoría de la Niñez, for Bolivians), and from the court or an authorized entity in case of foreigners. Every Bolivian citizen must pay a national tax of 13%. People who present immigration entry are exempt.

Bolivia citizens will be charged an additional 13% value added tax. Please note that foreign guests do not need to pay this tax if they show their passports, immigration cards (issued within 90 days), and a non-Bolivia credit card.
