Our reservation was for a king studio handicapped room at the Home 2 Suites. When we got there, we were put in a hearing impared room so the bathroom was definitely not set up for someone in a wheelchair!
After a discussion with the manager, we were told they had overbooked and our room was one given away. The manager compensated us with a handicapped room in their partner Garden Inn along with complimentary breakfast each morning. Our room at the Garden Inn was wonderful! It was very clean, very roomy and very comfortable. I think we got a better room than what I booked! When I needed an extra blanket and coffee pods, they were very prompted getting it to us. The front desk people were friendly every time we went down in their area. Overall, it was a great experience! We would stay at the Hilton Garden Inn again.

EXPECT NOTHING, KEEP AWAY!
STAY AWAY, DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the absolute worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at.
Staying here for 6 nights and have yet to receive any housekeeping services whatsoever. We have asked 3 different employees, one was a housekeeper one door down from us and she said we were not on her list!
Manager Lee Ann was absolutely no help whatsoever. She offered me 10k HHP and to have someone come immediately and yet no one has come.
I would love to show photo’s of my room, which is disgusting. Garbage over flowing, after emptying it several times on our own, towels all over our floor. Thinking that housekeeping would be coming.
Then had an employee to deliver us some clean towels, never knocked on our door before he entered and said that”he didn’t know anyone was in the room”.
Every employee we spoke with was very unwelcoming and we felt uneasy. The only exception was the breakfast staff.
Nobody should have to feel this way while staying at a trusted brand hotel.

Parking nightmare
The hotel itself is OK - it’s a split Home 2 Suites on one end and a Garden Inn on the other, with the check in for both at the Garden Inn. It’s located in a suburban, almost rural area right along Hwy 101.
The problem is parking.
I travel a lot - 150+ days a year - and in every other hotel of this caliber in that kind of location, parking is free. Occasionally you need to let the desk clerk know your license plate info, but nothing more. Here, you HAVE to scan a QR code and input a bunch of info and your payment method to some nebulous entity. The desk clerk when I checked in was very apologetic and explained she’d charge it to the room, but I still had to do the scan and enter the other info. She’d had many people complaining about it as not everyone has a smart phone and no one wants to be sending their credit card info to to an unknown business.
So I did all that. UP popped a time tracker on my phone ticking down the minutes. When I checked out, there was a card on my car saying it hadn’t been registered for parking. No, I did that 4 days ago! If this is such a big deal why isn’t the lot being checked nightly and why do I have to go all the way back to the desk to get this resolved when I need to be heading to the airport.
The clerk was very apologetic, told me that if he’d checked me in, he would have given me free parking (Why not do that for everyone?) and he’d take care of it.
Got home and got a message on my phone that I was out of time and needed to add more. I left 12 hours ago.
That and the lack of handicap accessible parking at the entrance make it a no for me. No one has time to deal with such an irritating inconvenience. Either have everyone add it to the room which works fine, or do away with it.

This hotel was attached to a Garden Inn and you had to walk all the way to the Garden Inn side if you wanted the front desk which is an inconvenience. If you entered the Homes2 Suites side you had to scan your card everytime. The smoking area was tiny and you only had a bench for 2 people. The exterior and elevator always smelled like Marijuana and was discussing. We always had to find house keeping if we needed kleenex, or toilet paper. Also we didnt find out until we checked in the pool wasnt heated. That was the main reason we picked this hotel was because of the size of the pool but no where does it say in the description of the hotel if the pool is heated or not. We have always loved staying at the Homes2 Suites hotel.

Great price. Housekeeping was poor. We stayed for 11 nights and never actually had all required items in the room at any time. Room was only cleaned a few times and we frequently had to ask for toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, soap etc. Sometimes it would show up and sometimes not. The first dew days we approached the front desk several times who did what they could. Howeve we realised that the hotel was clearly working down to a price (which was great) and not up to the standard the brand name would suggest.
