Service - over and above!!! Recommended .

Every employee could not have been nicer surpassing all our expectations! The trolley driver was great and we were sent off on our early morning Fly and Stay package with coffee and moist muffins La Quinta provided for us. Upon our return the trolley driver was already waiting- providing personable and expedient service to our car. The La Quinta manager and desk personnel were wonderful- a superior manager. We arrived back from our flight overtired, irritated and hungry after repeated and upsetting delays by Delta airlines but the manager at Romulus La Quinta and Cathy preparing the tasty breakfast went over and above our expectations helping to smooth the disturbing Delta experience over . We had actual eggs not the nasty powdered or liquid substitutes we so dislike , sausage we really enjoyed and danish, bagels juice and more. Cathy repeatedly checked on us and chatted with us. The room was clean and quiet with fluffy pillows and a soft mattress. Many thanks to La Quinta Romulus!!

Average airport hotel

Quick sleep over for early morning flight. Comfy bed, clean sheets, and plenty of hot water. Clearly the rooms get plenty of use as there is some evidence of wear and tear. Their housekeeping needs to step up their game and clean more than just the toilet and shower. Cobwebs and dust in corners, walls, tops of lamps and curtains.
Conveniently located next to airport parking. Easy in and out.

NO GYM

My room felt clean, friendly staff, and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately NOTHING in the fitness room works. There’s not even a workout bench for the dumbbells. Working out is importantly to me during my work travel. If not for that, would have rated higher.

Had to change rooms twice due to a plugged toilet in the first room and a non-working heater in second room. The "hot breakfast" was cold and the coffee was horrible. The staff was reasonably accommodating, but our stay was nonetheless very bad. We won't be staying at this hotel again.
