The room was clean and cozy. I felt safe in the hotel even though I was just there by myself. The staff were very nice, courteous and helpful. I would stay here again the next time I am in town.

Hotel was good. Great location for us. Unfortunately, the heater was broken in our room with 40 degree temps outside. They couldn’t repair it, but did offer us a different room.

Hey, it’s NYC, you get 10 sq feet to turn around in your $170 hotel room. But this ideally located property — albeit clearly upgraded from an understandably aged structure — offers a really comfy and inviting bed, a fashionable and functional bathroom, some really friendly and genuinely helpful staff, and a bar/restaurant with breakfast available. One of the best deals in town.

Facility was under construction. Fire alarm went off twice. Once after midnight, and again at 7am in the morning. Staff and security were fine. No continental breakfast was available without an extra fee. Great view.
