One night stay before a cruise.

We stayed here for one night before a cruise. The front desk was very friendly and helpful upon our arrival. We did not use their shuttle service but they have one to and from Miami Airport. The room was nice and we would stay here again. The continental breakfast was good.

A okay-ish hotel, with decent price... just watch for certain issues

In general, this is an ok-ish hotel while needing a place to stay overnight. It is probably preferable to choose this hotel if you have a car. Even though it is "close" to the huge airport, it was a $30 cab ride to get to it because the shuttle never showed up at the airport. One has to call the hotel first to get the shuttle, and if you have a late arrival you are stuck. It did, however, take us from the hotel to the airport. The rooms were a nice size with decent amenities, microwave, fridge, air conditioning, good blackout curtains, and an included breakfast that is sort of standard affair with hotels that offer these. It also has an indoor pool. There were several cons however... this place desperately needs a dehumidifier in each room ~ even with the air conditioner when crawling into bed at night the sheets were damp and icky feeling. The humidity was so bad that some of the fixtures in the bathroom were rusty, and the carpet when you walked on it with bare feet was damp and sticky feeling. The hotel is not in a convenient neighborhood, and few restaurants are within walking distance, which is nearly unbearable when hot or when raining. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy, my husband said it was okay to go out during the day, but he didn't think we should venture out walking at night. There was no hair or body soap in the dispensers, and when asked, they were not filled. The floor in the bathroom looked nice and upgraded, but when wet it was extremely slippery, the worst thing was the tissue holder (which was some kind of ceramic thing) was very moldy around all the edges... The staff was okay-ish, there was a gentleman at night (a young man) who was very nice and helpful, but some of the ladies during the day were more interested in their gossip or preoccupied with something other than helping customers waiting.

A noisy place to stay

84 rooms, built 10 years ago). Staying here for two nights while we re-explore Miami prior to a cruise.
The hotel is OK, but there is that sound of the aircraft taking off/landings in the distance noticeable up here in room 409, thus driving down Tom’s Hinge Rating to 4.1 (scale of 0-5). Still a nice hotel, but at the disadvantage of the proximity to the airport noise factor (same as all the other hotels in this area = that is the way it is!.
Other than breakfast brunch there is no restaurant in the hotel; but just a three block walk there are several “interesting” eateries. This whole area is full of small rental cottages, and small older hotels.

It is a very nice hotel. They had restaurant in walking distance, which made it nice. Friendly staff and very clean. The breakfast provide was wonderful. Will stay there a gain.

We were in Miami for business and this was a convenient location for our appointment. They offered free breakfast that was pretty good. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I love that they had shutter service for picking you up at the airport to take you to the hotel and then to take you to the airport after check-out. That was great and saved on the cost of an Uber.
