Shrigley Hall Hotel, just 15 miles south of Manchester city centre, is an impressive manor house in leafy Cheshire countryside. The hotel dates back to 1825 and is set in 262 acres of spectacular countryside.

The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now.
The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food.
Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice.
It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there

One of the best spa days ever

High expectations but let down
the food was good and the service in the restaurant and check in were great, prices in the bar are a bit expensive, breakfast was good, self service and food good,
Unfortunately there were things that made this a disappointing stay, our room was tired the blinds were dusty and the bathroom door locked when shut, had to use a spoon to unlock, then keep the door open a jar, the biggest problem was
The noise from the bar which we found was unacceptable, we left the bar to go to bed at around 1030,after enjoying the dj and the atmosphere, which was great but I would have expected reasonable time to end at around 11/1130, it was noisy not just from the music but from revellers, disturbed sleep all through the night from noisy people rowing or singing through to 3am and was then woken by music played from the courtyard at 530am I had to phone down to reception who didn’t answer until around 7am, then the music was turn off or down,
I don’t think we would be in a rush to return, and unfortunately feel a bit disappointed in the stay

Underwhelming
However, the sunbeds were a bit mucky and there was mould in the ceiling of the indoor pool area. The steam room was out of order when we went, as well as a smaller indoor little pool.
The food was really disappointing. I ordered a hot smoked salmon bagel but it was really cold and served on plain brown bread. The staffing was really poor too, so it was difficult to get served to order drinks throughout the morning. We stayed for tea in the evening because we were still hungry. I ordered a s fish finger sandwich (don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting anything overly gourmet, but maybe a nice ciabatta or roll) but it was literally four fish fingers on warbies bread. Very basic, something I could've just done myself at home).
I did have a nice day because I caught up with my gorgeous friend and enjoyed my treatment and time in the outdoor pool. But for the other reasons outlined, I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend.

Bad food for vegetarians.
Frayer not included in bad service to her. Give her a pay rise.
