Malmaison Manchester Deansgate
We stayed in a luxury suite with a private balcony at Mal Maison Manchester Deansgate hotel for a birthday celebration.
The retro 60s and 70s suite overlooks Albert Square and Manchester Town Hall.
A large complimentary bottle of champagne, comfortable dressing gowns, slippers, and a stylish bathroom with lovely toiletries awaited us.
The comfortable bed and effective air conditioning made for a great night's sleep.
We enjoyed a lovely meal at the hotel's Bar and Grill restaurant.
The breakfast’s buffet offered over a variety of Continental and cooked meats.
The staff are very friendly, and professional.
The hotel's central location ensured easy access to all amenities.

Only ok for a Mal
Was ok! The lighting in the bedroom is terrible, as well as the zip and link beds, so annoying when you expect a big comfy king!
Was only ok for a Malmaison. Bar was ok but very expensive. Think London prices for a beer.
Breakfast was good, as usual and staff were friendly. I wanted to enjoy it more as it was the latest hotel from Malmaison but it missed the mark massively.

Fantastic - highly recommended
We stay at a lot of the Hotel du Vin's and Mal Maison's and as this was quite new we thought we'd try it. It didn't disappoint. From the wonderful check in by Abby to the amazing staff in the roof top bar, it was fantastic. Scott was great, we went out, had dinner and came back and he remembered our order. It's those touches you remember.
The room was lovely and I don't think I met one member of staff who wasn't fantastic and after chatting with the manager, I can see they follow by his lead as he is fantastic and a real asset to the brand.

Lovely and relaxing
Lovely stay … we booked the snooze and schmooze. Ate as room service food was nice. All staff friendly and attentive. My only critique is no mini bar or kettle for tea and coffee! But staff gave us a complimentary tea in the morning. To our surprise we weren’t charged for our room service ice creams either … room was lovely bed huge and shower was nice. A bath would have been better was really looking forward to one. Didn’t visit Sora but maybe next time. Also wasn’t offered options of upgrades?????

Excellent staff, lovely stay. Worth a visit
We stayed as a couple on Sunday overnight for part of my wife’s birthday celebrations. After a long journey due to the winter weather restrictions and snow we arrived slightly later than planned and were greeted by a lovely lady at the check in desk. Check in was seamless and we were managed to squeeze in for the afternoon tea at rooftop bar Sora having missed our earlier booking due to travel conditions. The reception ensured this was arranged for us and even provided us with a complimentary cocktail to get us off to a great start, very thoughtful!
The food and service was fantastic and we soon relaxed into our experience. The hotel and rooms were excellent and spotless with comfy bed. The furnishings, shower and soaps were also great. We dined in the restaurant for the evening meal and breakfast options and both were very good . The thing that really stood out to us is the friendly atmosphere created by all staff members who were there. We had a chat with all of them and really enjoyed the effort they put in to make our stay special. Thank you, we really appreciate your hospitality and would recommend a stay at this hotel based on our experience
