Perfect except for the relentless lobbying for reviews
It's got a breakfast to die for. The service at the pool is phenomenal.
But one thing mars the perfect experience: the organised lobbying by hotel employees to be individually praised on TripAdvisor.
At the restaurants, waitstaff put bags of sweets in our hands with their name written on it, asking to please mention them positively in reviews. Ironically, they gave the sweets to the adults but not to our kids (who aren't able to write rebiews yet, lol).
Same thing happened at the spa. Therapists serve you a snack and ask to be mentioned by name on TripAdvisor, making sure to write their name down on paper alongside the link to the review site.
Honestly, the hotel is fabulous and doesn't need to resort to such tacky lobbying. This needs to stop, because the relentless is seriously spoiling the customer experience. It has become irritating. If hotel management is tying staff remuneration to the number of times they're mentioned on TripAdvisor, I hope they stop.
