Charmingly rustic and modern too! Wonderful exposed beams!
The king sized bed was gloriously comfortable with decent pillows too. The large bathroom with walk-in shower had custom made iron bath hooks, towel racks and other accessories which enhanced the rustic yet elegant feel of the room. The room was very quiet with the window closed and the curtains drawn - very restful indeed.
Breakfast served in our room at the time of our choosing was a completely adequate collection of coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, plenty of toast, croissants and other goodies (real butter & peach/strawberry jelly).
Our only regret was that we were unable to stay longer nor were we able to enjoy the downstairs reading/tv room which looked very comfortable.
The only slight negative was the weak Wifi signal which didn't seem to make it up to the third floor very well.
