Beautiful family getaway with breathtaking views
The room was nicely decorated but not quite as stylish as in the pictures, the furniture has a few spots here and there, carpet stands up at the edges... But everything was clean, the cleaning service does a very good job. The bed was comfortable, even the sofa bed for our son. Really unfavorable is the solution with the air conditioning (I think installed retrospectively in the building), this is located exclusively living area. In June we were able to sleep at night with the window open and are not so sensitive, but even if it stays very warm at night that is a problem you do not expect when booking an air-conditioned room. Many address the clairvoyance of the building. This is definitely there, as we have already found it in some facilities in the south. Only the noise on Friday night from the bar was really extreme.
The breakfast was great for the size of the hotel and very good quality, which was always a great start to the day! The whole gastronomic offer of the hotel I can recommend. The pool bar offers delicious snacks and drinks for the day and the two restaurants I can also highly recommend! Again, the location of the hotel is perfect for finding a restaurant on foot in the evening. A small supermarket is also just around the corner.
Cala Marcal beach is within walking distance and a beautiful and clear bay. We would visit this hotel again as it convinced us overall, although the already quite high price is certainly more justified by the location, the facility itself and the breathtaking view. The rooms could go a little further.

Strongly not recommended for Asian travelers – Unfair treatment and room allocation
It all happened the first morning I was with the hotel. I was sipping my coffee and looked around aimlessly. It was a late morning when everyone is up and stretching and trying to wake up on their balcony. It suddenly occurred to me that all the Asian faces are (around 4-5 or them) on the lower floors (1st or 2nd floors assuming ground floor is the first floor), while all the European faces appear on higher floors. What are the odds?
While the hotel may argue that room assignments are random and we Asians are just “unlucky”, this clear divide made me feel that we were not given the same level of priority.
As a paying customer, I believe all guests should be treated equally, regardless of nationality. I hope the hotel reconsiders its practices to ensure fair treatment for all guests in the future.
