Stayed here previously and service is fantastic. A bit of let down as one of the basin in the bathroom was blocked and fuse blew as soon as we turned the jacuzzi on. I was told the following morning that we could have called an after hours for urgent assistance, but it was a too much of a hassle for someone to visit late at night. The front person was very apologetic, luckily we had the fire going so it was warm enough for the night! Very comfortable place to stay. Will stay again in the future.

Incredible relaxing stay

Fantastic stay for the night for my partners birthday. The little touches were anbove and Beyond amazing including them leaving balloons and happy birthday in the room on our arrival surprising us both! They even upgraded our room for us which was just beautiful! Thankyou Thankyou! We loved relaxing in the spa even as it got dark, so lovely being covered on the courtyard area. We had breakfast included in our room & the buffet food at the restaurant was beautiful, including the big selection of yoghurt, pastries and cheese section - highly recommended . Our first time staying after previously only attending a friends stunning wedding some time ago! So glad I booked. Next time we look forward to eating dinner in the restaurant! The man on checkin/checkout was so lovely and friendly and we really had a wonderful relaxing stay even for the night! Thankyou ! :)

Relaxing time away

We had a pleasant stay, friendly welcome. The room was clean, tidy, and warm. Yes, there was wear and tear around the room and hotel but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. Nice clean spa bath. We had breakfast, which had a good variety.

Room service no good

Amenities spa resort was everything it said it was going to be no problems at all easy check in, helpful, friendly only problem we had was room service. Dinner was the time that they gave us. It came cold and it was expensive for cold dinner. Yeah wouldn’t recommend it. Gave us the option the night before for breakfast to be available to us, but upon breakfast was told we been included so that was a bit of a bummer

Average at best - sadly being run into the ground.

Was so excited to come here after a long week with busy jobs. Both myself and my partner work in the industry so we love staying at luxury hotels and know what a good standard of hotels look like.
We arrive to a man just sitting at reception inside the door just watching us with no care to assist us with our luggage or even greet us. Was a little creepy. Not a good first impression. Apparently you need to “request” for luggage assistance, can’t say any higher end hotels or lodges make you request assistance with luggage or even a warm hello.
We got to the room and yes it’s was large and really nice. Could do with a soft update to simple things like being able to charge your phone next to your bed. Plugs hard to find in convenient locations.
Bathrooms are quite outdated. The spa felt it could do with a good clean even though a self cleaning function, chemicals needed. Also pod coffee over instant options.
We were not sure if the resultant would be any good so went down to see what it was like. No table clothes and old cheap air fans in the middle of the restaurant so made it feel cheap. No atmosphere at all.
The bar person was a little odd but we decided to order a cocktail. Very interesting methods to make cocktails. Not sure I have ever seen a Mai Tai been made with pineapple juice before?
Anyway a lovely location and views but whoever is running this place is doing a great job of running it into the ground.
Wouldn’t go again or recommend, stay in town.
