Large and pleasant room
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped but would require a touch of paint. Small balcony from which you can see the Sky Tower. It's quiet but be careful it goes up on the return from the city center. We stayed there one night and slept well.

It was a very bad one night stay. The air-conditioning system is broken, probably for all of the hotel. Refrigerator is half working, so as very old toilets and showers. Armchairs are going to break. Very bad parking lot. Everything is very old. No way to give this hotel four stars at hotels.com ranking!!

My fault for not double checking, but I expected a place inside the CBD to have AC and it did not. Also, much of the carpet and baseboards were looking old and dirty.

The air conditioning in the property doesn’t work. We talked to the manager. First he said that A/C works on two floors. Then he tried to tell me that ac doesn’t work on the whole property. It was late in the evening. I was ready to get out but because we already prepaid for the stay, we didn’t want to lose our money. He said he will refund part of the money.

We were not informed at check-in that the AC was not working in any of the guest rooms. After we went back to the desk to complain we were told the two floor fans was the best they could do. The next morning the AC was still not working.
We booked a one bedroom unit with a washer/dryer. The room we got had a washer only. We complained and were moved to a different room. We unlocked the door and that room was already occupied by someone else.
After about an hour and a half of waiting and complaining, we were finally moved to a room (smaller than what we had booked) with a w/d combo.

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19), this property adheres to strict physical distancing measures. A damage deposit of NZD 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that guests are required to present a valid photo ID and credit card upon check in. Upon presentation of the credit card, the hotel will process a pre-authorization, which will place a hold of NZD 100 per night and full prepayment of the accommodations booked. Pre-paid credit cards and Debit plus Visa cards will be accepted under the terms and conditions issued by the bank or card provider. Funds available on the card should be a minimum of NZD 200 per night booked (in addition to the total payable for accommodations). Credit Card Payment: Please note that a surcharge of 2.5% will apply to all credit card payments and a 4.0% surcharge will apply to payments by American Express.
