This was our seventh visit to Pedregal and second in the last 12 months. Why do we keep returning- easy - it's the people! The venue is beautiful and the whale watching was the best ever - but the most important aspect are the dedicated team who always treat us as family. We stayed in a three bedroom with a majordomo- Valaria - who cooked us amazing breakfasts and lunches each day. She was such a pleasure and made us feel welcome.
So many of our "old friends" went out of their way to check on us each day to ensure everything was great. David Hernandez maintains an amazing beverage program and his team includes many of our favorite friends at the Agave Study including Juan, Edoardo, Omar, Ezekial/Checkie, Alaine, and Cutberto/"Beto" who provided us with a terrific tequila tasting. Each of these gentlemen are very special people - thoughtful, fun, and genuine.
We made several friends and saw some old friends at the pool bar including Martin, Alfredo, Luis (pool manager),and Marcos who always greet you with a smile and a new, tasty drink daily. Terrific people and great food - try the sushi - which who can watch being made fresh from an in-pool chair.
We enjoyed dinner at El Farralon for my husband's birthday and the servers and Gabriel the bartender went out of their way to make it so special for him. Amazing views and beautiful atmosphere. Gabriel - thank you for being so thoughtful!
We also enjoyed the special party and drinks at the Thursday party in celebration of the special Culinary Weekend. We have been lucky to be part of three of these events and each one is amazing!
The resort is spotless, service is outstanding and each person who works here is genuinely kind. The employees seem to appreciate and love their jobs and the number of long-term staffers seem to prove out that this is a special place.
Thank you again to all of our friends. We hope to come back after the remodel - assuming we don't get priced out with all the upgrades.

My 4th amazing experience at this” heaven on Earth” resort with the most incredible staff ever!

For many months now, I have intended on writing this review of my fourth and most recent journey to this incredible resort, which I definitely consider my home away from home, which is not an exaggeration when you consider that I spent almost 4 weeks here over the course of 2 separate trips in early 2024 .. this most recent one is from April 2024, After dealing with some lingering health issues, I’m finally getting around to doing this review. It seems that I’m always at my healthiest and happiest when I spend time at this Waldorf. When it comes to resort destinations, I rarely go to the same place twice, but now I am working my way towards a fifth trip to this heavenly spot. . I can’t say enough about the rooms, the facilities, the views of the ocean, the beauty of this heavenly resort . everything from top to bottom is literally the best I have ever seen. By far the best rooms and also the best overall resort, by far . But one of the main things that keeps me coming back is the staff. I have written about them before and I really can’t say enough about these incredible individuals. Some of which I truly consider friends at this point. Their attention to detail, their friendliness, their help, and just the way they are in general, makes me feel like it’s not just a job to them. They are truly all incredible human beings that always remember everything about me and my crazy preferences and dietary restrictions that I doubt most other resorts would cater to. It really seems like this property gets the best people and it’s so nice to see the same faces each time, for the most part. For many months now I have literally been dreaming and fantasizing about getting well enough to travel and return to my home away from home at this perfect luxury resort. I just want to point out several individuals, most of whom I have seen on multiple trips, ..people that have really made me feel special, and I definitely consider them exceptionally special people. Having them at the resort makes all the difference in the world, and I feel I will keep coming back here as much as possible for many years to come. In listing/ recognizing them I apologize for anyone who I accidentally omit, or spell their name incorrectly lol The resort has so many staff for each guest that it’s hard to remember everybody, but I will try. Thanks to all of you at the Waldorf Los Cabos and I hope to see you all again in the very near future. Thanks for everything!

Can’t say enough about this great dude.

The incredible breakfast buffet by the pool, with a view of the ocean is certainly one of the highlights of the experience here, so I’d like to mention the following people who always get my day started off on the right foot. From the servers to the omelette station people, the ones that make the freshly squeezed juices, blended to perfection, these guys are the best! There are many people at the resort named Mitchel and Daniel so I apologize that in some cases I don’t have last names. Doing my best here lol

Nicest Hilton property I’ve experienced!

Everything about this hotel is top notch. We were immediately greeted outside of the airport as we chose to pay for their car service to the hotel and we are so glad that we did. It made it very easy. Upon arrival, being greeted with a margarita while I wait for my room?! Yes, please! I am a Diamond member and we got an upgrade, which was very nice (we used points so I wasn’t sure if they would be that generous). The rooms were beautiful and we loved the doors to the balcony that opened all the way up to really allow an indoor/outdoor living feel. The private plunge pool was wonderful and we used it multiple times every day. Breakfast was great every day and they were knowledgeable about our food allergies. We ate all of our meals on the property at The Beach Club or Don Manuel’s. Both were really great! The best part of the day was the afternoon chips and guacamole. They did deliver Corona with this as well, but I can’t have it due to my wheat allergy. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer a gluten free alcohol option for me even after I let them know that I wasn’t able to drink it. The resort was busy while we were there and while the rooms themselves were really quiet, we did experience some inconsiderate guests. Our neighbors played loud music through a Bluetooth speaker on their balcony and while we spent most of our time on our balcony and in our plunge pool (the two times we went down to the pool during a four night stay, we literally couldn’t find one open lounge chair). There was another guest somewhere around us who was constantly smoking cigarettes either on their balcony or directly in front of our door while sitting on a bench there. She was there every single time we left the room and the smell definitely permeated into our room. I hate being those people, so we didn’t complain and just dealt with it. I was hoping a staff member would have said something as she was out there so frequently, but it’s also the type of place where they wouldn’t want to upset their guests. We were able to watch a baby sea turtle release one day and it was a highlight! Other guests we talked to said their concierge told them it was happening, but we happened to walk by earlier that day and asked someone who was monitoring the Turtle Nursery, so if this is something that interests you, head to that area and ask if they are expecting any releases while you’re there. This was our first trip to Cabo and we can’t wait to return! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. On departure, they gave us the cutest turtle shaped cookies (I couldn’t eat them but they were adorable!). I will say that the driver on our ride back was very friendly, but not super safe. He was passing in a lot of non passing zones at a high rate of speed, which didn’t make me feel very comfortable. Overall, I still can’t give this resort any less than 5 stars! Just don’t expect to save any money here!

Genuine Fun

Another over the top awesome stay! Had our brother in law and his wife from Ohio join us this time, they could not get over the outstanding service and genuine friendliness of the entire staff. Too many associates to name them all, but will try! Debbie, Rey and Dana make the room and concierge process seamless as does Alberto during the check in process. Still have our favorite breakfast waiters at El Miguel each morning, Gau and Daniel are terrific as are all the hostesses who seat us in their areas! Ambassadors Gorge, Daniel, Ramundo, Lionel, Omar, Ricky and team always greet us with big smiles! Guys at Peacock Alley/Tequilla Bar are too funny, and very knowledgable (Eduardo, Cumberto, Ezekiel, Jobni, and Juanito). El Farallon staff and sunset were awesome! Oscar and Roberto are excellent guardians of the gate and greeters upon entering Pedregal! Lastly, the whales put on an unforgettable show! Thank you all!

Cabo Waldorf uncensored

We stayed for 7 nights, chk in was easy and welcoming, staff attention to detail excellent, cost high, room service outstanding, location excellent. Food at Manuel’s excellent. Breakfast buffet excellent. Chk out easy. Only complaint first 3 days great, then screaming children moved in next door and above us children bouncing balls , drove us nuts. Would stay again: maybe …. Would at least look at adult only options
