Luxurious! Sumptuous!
We stayed at Wanda Vista Hotel Urumqi for one night before we left for USA. The location of the Hotel is just perfect for shopping at the neighborhood malls (although you might need ID to get in and out)
The hotel has a bravura entrance, stunning lobby and remarkable huge hall.
Our bedroom was large, equipped with two large-sized beds, very comfortable sitting area, nice and closed closet, and contemporary magnificent bathroom. Service was excellent. Wi-fi was strong and easy to connect. We enjoyed Hotel’s dazzling breakfast. experienced its excellent exercise facilities.
We enjoyed the relaxing and quiet stay.

Large, Modern, Clean Hotel
In such a far away place in western China, it is a pleasant surprise to find the Wanda Vista Hotel in Urumqi to be an extremely nice hotel. It is as I had described in the title - large, modern and clean. The lobby is big and there are colorful murals decorating different walls around the lobby (see photos) - very impressive.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. It is also well appointed with modern furnishing, nice wall coverings and is spacious. The bathroom is also large and has nice marble counter-top, marble walls and floors. There is a separate marble shower and tub - nice! As can be seen in my bathroom photo, there is a "see-through" window from the bathroom to the bedroom areas -- but not to worry, there is drop-down window curtain on this window.
Very nice Hotel in Urumqi, and I would highly recommend this place.

Nice place!
Hello, was there in November 2019,the place is really nice the location was quite good also. It was a bit too warm though. After I left I actually forgot a neck pillow and a bill, there were nice enough to send it to wherever was convenient for me, thank to Sunny Li, a girl from the front desk.

Luxurious Stay
The management of this hotel has gone to great lengths to anticipate what guests want/need. I can't think of any amenity that wasn't provided in my room, which was beautiful and quiet. I needed to use the Business Center, and the attendant on duty not only provided me with the equipment I needed, she graciously brought me a plate of snacks while I was working. My only regret is that we stayed here only one night!

Wonderful Hotel
This is a newer hotel in the newer part of the town. There is a large mall across the street. We took a taxi to this hotel from the airport, which cost us around $5 US dollar. We took the taxi to the International Bazaar and other places, so I am not sure about nearby public transportation. However, you can use Baidu map to map out the bus schedule if you wish to use it. Get the breakfast package when you book the hotel, it is very good. Try their pan fried yogurt, it is actually frozen yogurt with many interesting toppings. Buffet dinner at the hotel was great too.
