Beautiful, very neat hotel
Nice clean bathroom with bath.

This is how a boutique hotel should be!
Fresh and beautifully restored while retaining authentic details, but with a fresh design that goes wonderfully with the old atmosphere of the building.
The room on the top floor, a steep climb through a beautiful stairwell, (don't worry, there is a cute elevator) is spacious and cozy with a separate toilet and wonderful rain shower. Atelier Rubuel bath products are amazing! It's also nice that there is conditioner for your hair! You might think the sink is too small but we thought it was ok.
The bed is phenomenal, just like the duvet, here's a tip; Despite the air conditioning, the duvet is more suitable for cold nights, perhaps a slightly thinner duvet for the summer months will also save air conditioning consumption. Which doesn't change the fact that we thought it was a wonderfully fluffy duvet, just a bit warm for this very warm night. The air conditioning works fine and cools the room well (we don't like having it on all night).
It is also wonderfully quiet at night, so it is well insulated.
The breakfast was also very extensive, served at the table by the extremely friendly owner. It's very nice that there is no buffet, so you can have a chat and there is little waste. Good coffee and eggs prepared to your liking!
We enjoyed it and highly recommend Marie Marie for a stay in the lovely Dendermonde!
