Very good hotel, super nice people

The Gasthof is super well located , the breakfast is very good and the people from the hotel is very nice. I had forgotten airpods in the room and they contacted us to find a way to ship them. Such kindness is so rare this days that it is worth to highlight it

Lots of money for bad food!

We went to the restaurant spontaneously because our granddaughter was already so hungry, but the restaurant is the purest nap, no children's schnitzel, no menu without soup, food below average and also no bill received!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad Bad Bad - Booked 6 months and then no Room

This is the first time it happened to us, booked a hotel six months previous , confirmed the week before to which we received a reply. Then on arrival informed that we had not accepted the offer.... Please look at attached photo of email.
They asked us to stop at the sister hotel to which we had to agree, on arrival it turned out that this was a hostel and had no connection with the hotel.
The real confusion was returning to the hotel in the evening only to find the place closed, and a sign outside offering rooms??? Not sure what happened other than a web of lies.
We visited the tourist office the next day to complain and the girl explained that they do recommend this place anymore because of the high level of complaints.

ok for a night

i cannot say much bad About it but i cannot say much good About it. the receptionist was completely overwhelmed when we arrived - but we were only 4 People with reservations for two Rooms - it took him 10 minutes to find one reserveration and another 10 to find out that we needed + reserved a second room.
this already was a quite bad first impression
the Rooms are old but clean and ok size-wise. the bathroom is Tiny and oldish.
it gets rather noisy in the morning, which is understandable as you are basically next to the basilica.
breakfast is ok - but the coffee is… well not so nice.
all in all - it is ok to stay for one night, which most guests do probably, but i would not want to stay there longer.

Room a bit cluttered

I occupied a designated single room which was a little small and cluttered and just didn't have such a nice feel about it., There were two beds in the room, but the furniture placement did not allow for much movement within the room. The furniture a little outdated too, but the bed was quite comfortable, there was a small desk and plenty of wardrobe space. The TV was very small but the bathroom was OK with a good shower. The hotel was situated in a very good position within the town. Staff were quite pleasant and helpful.
